Jump Scares: Spirit Halloween Season is Here
Halloween has finally reached us + updates
Spirit Halloween stores are beginning to open up all over the USA. Starbucks and other coffee shops are offering their fall flavors again, with pumpkin spice probably being sold out every time you ask for it. Theme parks are open for their yearly scares, with haunted houses and scare actors ready for the crowds.
Nature is healing.

So, this edition of “Jump Scares” is a little different — while I am going to be talking about the beauty of the season, I also want to provide some updates.
Some of you may have noticed that my uploading has probably been a bit wonky (I haven’t uploaded in two weeks, that’s on me). That’s mostly because I’ve been busy behind the scenes with multiple projects.
On one hand, I’m working toward getting experience in marketing. So there’s a lot going on there. That’s boring though.
On the more exciting hand, I was absent for those two weeks because I was working on my analog horror series. The first episode was just posted so check it out if you’re interested! I had a lot of fun putting it together and I’m excited to work on the second episode.
I’ve also been working on some artwork for the Halloween season, which I’m trying to get ahead of now so I don’t rush during October.
Lastly, I’ve been planning for a trip to a horror con that I will be attending very soon. I’ll make sure to make a newsletter concerning that when that happens, so look out for that!
‘Tis the Season of Spirit Halloween
If you’re lucky, then you’ve probably seen a Spirit Halloween sign somewhere on your nearest abandoned building. If that’s the case, then you know that means Halloween is already approaching!
From the wild animatronics to the horror merch that lines the shelves, Spirit is probably the highlight of the season.
My local Spirit showcased a good variety of animatronics, all which were weirdly focused on being tall. Still, seeing a Leatherface animatronic was neat. There were also animatronics for Killer Klowns in Outer Space and Mars Attacks!
There were also some returning props from last year that I remembered seeing, like the zombie babies and classic dead bodies.
Anyway, this is your sign to go Spirit Halloween. Pick up some pumpkin treats, grab a coffee, and go explore the depths of Spirit.
